The Rev. Malcolm White, formerly with the CMS and pastor of English-Speaking Anglican Congregation (ESAC) at the Church of the Redeemer in Amman, has recently published this fine article in St Francis Magazine. The article focuses on the work of some of the very first Arab Protestant ministers and evangelists in the Trans-Jordan. It is a welcome addition to our knowledge regarding the first indigenous evangelicals in the area.

Alex Miller: "The Secret World of God..." in Global Missiology
Duane Alexander Miller has recently published an article in Global Missiology: "The Secret World of God: Aesthetics, Relationships and the Conversion of 'Frances' from Shi'a Islam to Christianity".
In this article Miller explores the role of aesthetics in one religious conversion and asks if evangelicals have ignored this factor in analyzing religious conversions so far. This is a continuation of his previous research on Iranian Christianity and religious conversion.
